In the spring of 2020, on the afternoon of April 29th, 35-year-old Louis Eugene Kingsbury was in front of a carryout restaurant on the 200 block of New York Avenue, Northwest in Washington, D.C. It was there that his life was tragically cut short when he was shot multiple times. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Mr. Kingsbury suffering from gunshot wounds.
