On November 30, 2002, Lydell Glen Douglas, aged 25, was fatally shot in the 1800 block of Irving Street, NE, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 1:50 AM, and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) arrived on the scene to find Douglas suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by emergency responders, he did not survive. The case remains unsolved, and the MPD has since been actively seeking public assistance to help solve the homicide.
