In the early afternoon of a Wednesday in December 2020, tragedy struck in the Bellevue neighborhood of Southwest Washington, D.C. Maurice Johnson, a 30-year-old male resident of Southwest, was gunned down in the 100 block of Joliet Street, S.W.
