On January 26, 2021, at approximately 7:03 PM, 15-year-old Jamarid Robinson was shot and killed in the 2600 block of 12th Place, Southeast, Washington, DC. Responding officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District found Jamarid suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Jamarid was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
