On a summer night in Mukilteo, Washington, a gathering of young friends turned into a scene of tragedy, forever altering the lives of many. Nineteen-year-old Jacob Michael "Jake" Long, a white male, was among those present at a house party on July 30, 2016, a get-together of University of Washington and Kamiak High School students and graduates.
