On a summer night in Mukilteo, Washington, a gathering of friends at a house party turned into a scene of tragedy on July 30, 2016. Among the victims was Jordan Michael Ebner, a 19-year-old Caucasian male from the area. The celebration, attended by about fifteen to twenty young people, many of whom were graduates of Kamiak High School, was shattered by gunfire shortly after midnight.
