In the waning hours of a Tuesday afternoon in Washington, D.C., a young man's life was brought to an abrupt and violent end. Twenty-two-year-old Diamonte Green was inside the entryway of an apartment building on the 300 block of 33rd Street, Southeast, on February 16, 2021, when he was fatally shot.
