On March 5, 2021, in Greensboro, Alabama, 20-year-old Javion McGuffie was fatally shot around 2 p.m. The suspect, 16-year-old Chardarius Moore, had been released from a juvenile facility just weeks earlier for involvement in a previous shooting in Greensboro the previous fall. Moore was also a suspect in a shooting in Perry County about two weeks before the fall incident. Authorities believe the shooting was gang-related.
