On September 6, 2014, seven-year-old DeCorrin L. Johnson was tragically killed in Greensboro, Alabama. While attending his grandmother's memorial birthday party, DeCorrin was playing outside when he was struck by a bullet during a nearby altercation. The incident occurred near a home on Washington Street, close to Greensboro High School.
