In the early hours of Monday, May 1, 2023, the quiet of Jones Street in Greensboro, Alabama, was shattered by gunfire. Responding to the scene at approximately 12:53 a.m., law enforcement officers discovered the body of 27-year-old Nicholas Nickson, a male resident of the nearby community of Sawyerville.
