On January 11, 2020, 32-year-old Darryl Eugene "DJ" Paige was fatally shot in Greensboro, Alabama. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Ward Street while Paige was visiting friends. After receiving a phone call, he stepped outside and was shot multiple times. Authorities discovered 25 shell casings near the scene, indicating shots were fired from two different weapons.
