On April 3, 2021, Julius Hayes, a 37-year-old resident of Northeast Washington, D.C., was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred around 3:58 p.m. in the 300 block of 18th Street, NE. Emergency services responded promptly, and Hayes was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Despite the medical team's efforts, Hayes succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
