On October 9, 2021, at approximately 1:12 am, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of Brentwood Road, Northeast, Washington, DC. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as 36-year-old Robert Dupont from Severn, Anne Arundel County, was transported to a local hospital by DC Fire and EMS.
