Kenneth Omar Santiago, a 31-year-old U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant, tragically died on November 8, 2021, in Washington, D.C. Santiago was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on the steps leading to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. The incident occurred around 7:25 p.m. on November 8, and he was airlifted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries early the next morning.
