On December 23, 2021, Marcus Thomas, aged 37, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in the 4200 block of 4th Street, Southeast, Washington, DC. The incident occurred around 1:21 PM when officers from the Seventh District responded to reports of gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, they found Marcus Thomas suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene.
