In the winter of 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the afternoon calm in a Washington, D.C. apartment building, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. On Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at approximately 3:21 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2500 block of Elvans Road, Southeast.
