In the late spring of 2011, concern grew among the family of Domingo Flores, Jr., a 53-year-old Hispanic male, after weeks passed without a word from him. Their worries culminated in a grim discovery on May 22, 2011, at his residence on Dayton Street in South Bend, Indiana. There, family members found Domingo Flores, Jr. deceased, bringing a tragic end to their search.
Investigators from the Saint Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit determined that Flores had been the victim of a homicide.
