On July 3, 2022, at approximately 9:55 PM, the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 1600 block of K Street, Northeast, Washington, DC. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Timothy Brady, of Laurel, MD, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Brady was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead after all life-saving measures failed.
