In the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C., on the evening of December 17, 2022, the life of 18-year-old Derron McQueen was tragically cut short. A Black male from Temple Hills, Maryland, McQueen was found in the 1700 block of Euclid Street, Northwest, just after 10:00 p.m. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District were initially dispatched to the scene following a report of a person being struck by a vehicle.
