On the evening of Tuesday, August 10, 2004, the life of Kenneth Leroy Joiner, a male resident of Washington, D.C., was tragically cut short. At approximately 8:30 p.m., in the 5400 block of Drake Place, Southeast, Joiner was fatally shot under circumstances that remain shrouded in mystery. The incident prompted an immediate response from the Metropolitan Police Department, who have since been handling the investigation into his death, which was classified as a homicide.
