On September 6, 2011, a tragic shooting occurred at an IHOP restaurant in Carson City, Nevada, resulting in the death of several individuals, including Heath Austin Kelly, a 35-year-old native of Kenner, Louisiana. Kelly, a Lieutenant Colonel in the Nevada National Guard, was one of the victims of this violent incident.

The shooting began around 9 a.m. when a lone gunman, identified as Eduardo Sencion, 32, of Carson City, arrived at the IHOP restaurant on South Carson Street. Sencion was ...
