In the early morning hours of December 13, 2019, the life of 23-year-old Kyle Sullivan Bryan was cut short in a residence on Boyle Street, located on Washoe Tribe land in Carson City, Nevada. Authorities responded to a report of a domestic battery at approximately 3:40 a.m. and discovered Bryan inside the home, suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the arrival of the Carson City Fire Department, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
