In the late evening hours of April 30, 2025, a dispute that began inside a Carson City, Nevada bar tragically ended a man's life. Gilbert Lopez, a 46-year-old Hispanic male, was shot multiple times and killed outside the Blue Bull Bar. The Carson City Sheriff's Office received emergency calls around 9:45 p.m. reporting the shooting on Telegraph Street. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered Lopez in the street, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
