Luis Fernando Fernandez-Lima, a 22-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on September 6, 2016, in the 600 block of South La Fayette Park Place in the Westlake area of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Fernandez-Lima got into a confrontation with another individual at a park.
