In the fall of 2015, a young man's promising future was tragically cut short in Las Vegas, Nevada. Triston Taylor Green, a 19-year-old Caucasian male known to his friends and family as "Shorty," passed away on October 18, 2015. His death was the result of an accidental gunshot wound, a sudden and unforeseen event that brought his journey to an untimely end.
In the wake of this tragedy, authorities determined that there was no criminal activity or foul play involved, and consequently, no suspects were identified or arrests made in connection with the incident.
Born on November 16, 1995, Triston was remembered as a musically inclined and business-minded individual with a persistent spirit. He had spent his formative years in Alaska, attending Colony High School in Palmer before graduating from Ketchikan High School in 2013. His adventurous nature led him to a brief period in Orlando, Florida, and then back to Alaska to work on the North Slope. Seeking to further his education and ambitions, he had enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno, to study business.
Even in his death, Triston's compassionate nature shone through. He had made the selfless decision to be an organ donor, and through this act of generosity, he gave the gift of life to five individuals. His legacy continues on not only in the memories of his loved ones but also in the lives he saved. He is survived by a large and loving family, including his mother, stepfather, sisters, father, stepmother, brothers, grandparents, and his girlfriend.
