In the late hours of a Friday night in Las Vegas, on February 12, 2016, a young man's life was cut tragically short. Leon Max Velasquez, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, was discovered inside a vehicle on the 1900 block of Cindysue Street, near the intersection of Rancho and Vegas drives. Responding to a call at approximately 11:45 p.m., police found Velasquez with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
