On July 20, 2014, 18-year-old Issachar Akaka was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. Akaka was among a group of people leaving a house party when a vehicle approached and opened fire. The shooting, which occurred near Rancho Drive and Cheyenne Avenue, also resulted in injuries to three others who were present at the scene. Akaka's death shocked the local community, and law enforcement launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
