In the late summer of 2013, the life of a young African-American man, 17-year-old Christopher Jovan Richard, was tragically cut short in Las Vegas, Nevada. On August 23, a day that began like any other, ended in sorrow for his family and friends. Christopher, a son and a father himself, was remembered for his love of singing and writing his own music, and for the time he cherished spending with his mother.
