Carlos Lopez-Perez, a 25-year-old man, was found dead on December 6, 2016, in a remote desert area in southern Las Vegas, near Gillespie Street and Bermuda Road. His body was discovered under suspicious circumstances, prompting authorities to quickly launch a homicide investigation. The Clark County Coroner determined that Lopez-Perez had died from multiple gunshot wounds, confirming that foul play was involved.
