In the early morning hours of October 11, 2016, David Teel, a 38-year-old Caucasian male, was walking to a bus stop on his way to work in Las Vegas, Nevada. A recently married veteran, Teel was alone near Ogden Avenue and 15th Street when an argument was heard, followed by the sound of a gunshot.

When authorities arrived, they found Teel deceased at the scene. An investigation determined he had sustained a fatal shotgun wound to his neck. Police believe that Teel was the victim of a robbe ...
