In the late afternoon of August 15, 2015, a burst of gunfire shattered the desert heat in the east valley of Las Vegas, Nevada, leaving 28-year-old Hispanic male Jairo Garcia mortally wounded. The Clark County coroner's office would later confirm Garcia's identity and the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the left side of his body.
