Murdered

Jaime Padilla, a 21-year-old Las Vegas resident, was fatally shot by police on February 23, 2011, during a burglary incident. According to reports, Padilla was involved in a standoff with Metro Police at an apartment complex. He was identified as a suspected burglar, and during the confrontation, he allegedly fired at police officers. The officers, responding to the gunfire, returned shots, killing Padilla at the scene. The Clark County Coroner’s Office later confirmed his identity.
