Eric Ruiz, 25, a male of Hispanic/Latino ethnicity, was found shot to death on the night of April 5, 2014, in a northeast Las Vegas neighborhood. At about 8:42 p.m., a 911 caller reported an injured, unresponsive man in the 6900 block of Appleton Drive, near East Carey Avenue and North Hollywood Boulevard.
