In the spring of 2005, Brian Pullen, a 42-year-old Caucasian male, was embarking on a new chapter in his life in Las Vegas, Nevada. Having recently relocated from the Cleveland, Ohio area, he had secured a job as a dealer at the Luxor hotel and casino. He settled into a weekly rental at the Harbor Island Apartments, a complex located at 370 E. Harmon Avenue, situated behind the Hard Rock Hotel.
