On December 1, 2023, 57-year-old Timothy Bratton was fatally shot in the chest at a homeless encampment near East Charleston Boulevard and Sandhill Road in Las Vegas. Four other men at the encampment were also shot; one, 38-year-old Ashley Burnell, succumbed to a head wound on December 8, while the others survived.

Authorities arrested 31-year-old Cristobal Omar Perez and 21-year-old Kylee Au Young in connection with the shootings. Investigations revealed that Perez allegedly approached t ...
