On May 4, 2017, Richard Allen Bojorquez, a 47-year-old man, was fatally shot in a homeless camp located near a wash on Owens Avenue and Pecos Road in the east valley of Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident occurred after an argument between Bojorquez and another man escalated into violence. Witnesses who lived in the area reported seeing the two men arguing before hearing multiple gunshots.
