On a sidewalk in North Las Vegas, the life of 20-year-old Anthony Eugene Hodges, a Black male, came to a tragic end on December 30, 2016. Around 6 p.m., a passerby discovered Hodges suffering from a gunshot wound beneath a train underpass located east of Lake Mead Boulevard and Losee Road. Emergency services were called, and he was transported to University Medical Center, but the wound to his chest proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
