In the late hours of a Thursday in North Las Vegas, the life of 23-year-old Damaryo Morris, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short on May 11, 2017. He was standing outside a retail store in a parking lot on the 2100 block of East Cheyenne Avenue when the fatal encounter occurred. An assailant approached him and opened fire, striking him multiple times before quickly fleeing the scene.
