Javier Ortiz-Hernandez, a 34-year-old Hispanic male, was shot and killed on the evening of September 17, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident occurred at approximately 8:50 p.m. in the parking lot of his apartment complex located in the 2200 block of Exeter Drive. At the time of the shooting, Ortiz-Hernandez was working on his vehicle.
