Kwame Banks, 26, was shot and killed on February 21, 2017, during an altercation at an apartment complex in northwest Las Vegas. The shooting occurred after a fight broke out at the Sky Pointe Landing Apartments. Banks died from a gunshot wound to the chest, and his death was ruled a homicide. The incident marked the 29th homicide in Las Vegas that year.
