Steven Richard Berger, a 44-year-old White/Caucasian male, was in Las Vegas to celebrate his birthday with friends in the fall of 2017. A financial advisor from Minnesota and a devoted father to his three children, he had a deep love for country music. This passion brought him to the Route 91 Harvest Festival on the Las Vegas Strip on the evening of October 1, 2017. He and his friends were enjoying the concert when the festive atmosphere was shattered by the sound of gunfire.
