On August 21, 2018, Charles Allen Flowers Jr., a 29-year-old man, was fatally shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex located at 825 W. Lake Mead Blvd, near H Street, north of downtown Las Vegas. The incident occurred in the evening, with police receiving a call about gunshots at approximately 6:15 p.m. Upon arrival, authorities found Flowers suffering from gunshot wounds, and despite immediate medical attention, he died at the scene.
