On October 28, 2021, a fatal shooting occurred outside a 7-Eleven convenience store located at 1415 E. Fremont Street, near 15th Street, in downtown Las Vegas. The victim, identified as Devin Anderson, a 22-year-old resident of North Las Vegas, died from a gunshot wound to the head and neck, as confirmed by the Clark County coroner's office.
