On a tragic day in Henderson, Nevada, Veronica Muniz, a 33-year-old Hispanic female, lost her life in a violent and senseless act. On November 3, 2020, Muniz was at The Douglas at Stonelake Apartments when a gunman opened fire. She, along with another woman and a young boy, were fatally wounded in the attack.
