In the quiet suburbs of Henderson, Nevada, the summer of 2016 was shattered by a tragic event that unfolded within the walls of a home on Sequoia Drive. On the afternoon of July 24th, 61-year-old Paulette King, a woman suffering from multiple health issues, was found in a spare bedroom with a fatal gunshot wound. The stillness of the neighborhood was broken by the arrival of first responders, who transported her to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, but her life could not be saved.
