On September 5, 2021, 19-year-old L.C. Scurry of Las Vegas, Nevada, lost his life due to a fatal shooting. The incident occurred in the northwest part of the city, specifically at the intersection of West Atwood Avenue and Winterhaven Street. Police officers were called to the scene around 10:45 p.m. in response to reports of a shooting, where they found Scurry in the street with a gunshot wound to the chest.
