On the evening of April 18, 2016, 34-year-old Thomas Alexander Blas, a Hispanic male, was fatally shot at the Solis at Flamingo apartment complex located at 3223 East Flamingo Road in Las Vegas, Nevada. Responding to reports of a man 'screaming for help' around 8:16 p.m., officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department discovered Blas lying in the doorway of an apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound.
