On the evening of October 25, 1986, 55-year-old Barbara A. Freyschlag, a White female, was found murdered in the kitchen of her Upper Skyway home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her husband, K.G. Freyschlag, discovered her body upon returning from a business trip. An investigation revealed she had been shot multiple times at close range with a large-caliber weapon. That evening, Mrs. Freyschlag had attended a party at the El Paso Club and had left alone.
