In the winter of 2022, a tragic sequence of events unfolded in the Lorson Ranch neighborhood of Colorado Springs, culminating in the death of 27-year-old Vanessa Anderson. The promising life of this young woman, who was six months pregnant, was cut short on December 19th in a violent encounter that also claimed the life of her friend.
