In a quiet home on Heather Glen Drive in Colorado Springs, the life of 26-year-old Lizet Salinas-Mijangos was tragically cut short on the evening of February 1, 2022. Responding to a distressing 911 call around 6:55 p.m., police officers discovered a horrific scene. Inside the residence, Lizet and her eight-month-old son, George, were found deceased, both having suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
